VIDEO PROPOSAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Video submission is now OPEN
Submitted videos must comply with the following criteria:
- Videos must address a relevant topic of interest to ECS members, whether scientific or conservation-related.
- All material, filming, and research presented must comply with ECS ethical standards and the legislation of the country of origin regarding research and the presentation of research.
- Videos must not exceed 10 minutes in duration.
- Videos must be of sufficient quality to ensure that the subject matter can be seen clearly.
- Any narration must be in English or subtitled in English.
- Each video must begin with a title slide containing the following information: the name of the submitting person or institution, the video title, the video duration, the year the video was filmed, the country of origin, and any acknowledgements.
- Each video must be submitted in a widely compatible video format. The preferred formats are MPEG-4, MOV, and AVI.
Notification of the decision will be sent by 15 January 2027.
