14th ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Cork, Ireland, 2-5 April, 2000

The 14th Annual Conference of the European Cetacean Society took place in Cork in April 2000 and was hosted by Emer Rogan.
The theme of the conference was:

"CETACEANS IN THE ECOSYSTEM:
DEFINING CRITICAL HABITAT"

The combination of the very modern university and the old town. Reception by the mayor, followed by having an ECS member playing Scottish songs on his Galician bagpipe in an Irish pub.... Sacrilege or just our international approach? Great country and lovely conference.
