9th ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Lugano, Switzerland, 9-11 February, 1995

The 9th Annual Conference of the European Cetacean Society took place in Lugano in February 1995 and was hosted by Beatrice Jann.
The theme of the conference was:

"THE ACOUSTIC WORLD OF CETACEANS"

Cetaceans? In Switzerland? No, but there are quite few knowledgeable Swiss around in the field of cetology. Excellent conference in the very posh surrounding of Lugano town. Surprising full size model of a whale's heart - that is large! Also the first conference where we had a 24*7 internet connection. One only but still. Somebody pulled a cable all the way through the hallway to get us connceted.
